Steven Matz Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Steven Matz has tested positive for COVID-19. It's worth noting all follow-up testing came back negative and Matz remains symptom-free. However, Matz will need to be isolated for 10 days per MLB guidelines. He'll likely need a rehab start or some bullpen sessions before returning to the big league roster. Fantasy managers can expect Matz to be sidelined for a few weeks. There should be better options available in standard leagues, but deep league managers might want to hold onto Matz.
