Daniel Berger May Be One To Watch At PGA Championship
4 years agoDaniel Berger hopefully learned some lessons from his humbling experience at the Masters, where he shot 75 and 73 to miss the cut. The third-place performance at the Byron Nelson last week included a nice charge and a 64 on Sunday. This week will obviously be much more difficult, but Berger is 10th in greens in regulation (70.95%). His average driving distance will not be too much of an issue. It will again be his approach to the green to set up putting (top-25th percentile in most metrics). That will be vital over the weekend for him.
