Huascar Ynoa Dominant Again
4 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Huascar Ynoa recorded his fourth win of the year on Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The rookie hurler allowed just one run — a solo homer — on four hits and one walk. He struck out six batters and induced four ground-ball outs. Ynoa has elite numbers so far this season. He has a K-BB of 44-9 with just 27 hits allowed in 40 1/3 innings. The underlying numbers suggest he's been lucky and has allowed higher-than-average rates on both barrels (11%) and hard-hit balls (48.5%). However, he's been holding batters to a below-average launch angle (7 degrees) which appears to be helping. He remains a strong option in fantasy baseball each time out.
