Will Smith Slugging .587 Against Right-Handed Pitching
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith continues to raise his offensive game heading into the weekend. Smith is hitting .308 over his last seven games, including a .313 clip through the first four games in May. The Dodgers will take on the Angels Friday, who are sending right-handed starter Griffin Canning to the mound. Smith has punished right hander's early this season, slashing .283/.407/.587 with seven extra-base hits through only 46 at-bats. Smith is an offensively gifted catcher and those skills are beginning to come out. The 26-year-old will have solid fantasy value heading into the weekend's action.
