Jonathan India Hits First MLB Homer

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk in a 14-11 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. The homer goes into the books as the first of India's MLB career. India got off to a fast start this season, posting a seven-game hitting streak to begin the year, but he has slowed down at the plate of late. He is hitting just .095 with nine strikeouts in his last seven games. He's worth holding onto in deeper leagues and NL-only formats but he should be on fantasy benches until his bat starts to come around.
