Browns Sign Malik Jackson, Others
4 years agoThe Cleveland Browns agreed to terms on an undisclosed one-year deal with former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Malik Jackson on Friday, according to a league source. The team also agreed to undisclosed terms with wide receiver JoJo Natson, linebacker Elijah Lee and tackle Greg Senat. Jackson, a former Pro Bowler who spent the last two years in Philadelphia, had 28 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2020. He made the Pro Bowl in 2017 as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's an interior defensive lineman whose specialty has been pressuring the opposing quarterback. Jackson has recorded 267 career tackles, 35 sacks, six forced fumbles and 25 pass deflections. He played in 15 games last season. Jackson will join a tackle rotation that includes Sheldon Richardson, Jordan Elliott and Andrew Billings.
