Kyle Rudolph Reaches Agreement With Giants
4 years agoFormer Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph reached an agreement on an undisclosed deal with the New York Giants on Thursday. Rudolph will join the G-Men after 10 seasons in Minnesota, including two Pro Bowl selections after he was a second-round pick out of Notre Dame in the 2011 draft. The 31-year-old saw his role decrease last year, playing in just 12 games while recording 28 catches on 37 targets for 334 yards and one touchdown. Irv Smith Jr. leaped him on the depth chart and will be an intriguing sleeper tight end in fantasy this year. In New York, Rudolph will forces with Evan Engram. It could be a similar situation for Rudolph, with him being more of a touchdown-dependent TE2 with upside. His presence will also make Engram a less-desirable TE1 target.
