Jaguars Acquire Malcolm Brown From Saints
4 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars acquired defensive lineman Malcolm Brown from the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday. Brown would have made around $5 million if he had remained in New Orleans, but instead he will receive a two-year deal worth $11 million with $8 million guaranteed in his new home. He has been a starter the last two years with the Saints after starting his career with the New England Patriots, where he was also a starter and earned two Super Bowl rings. The 27-year-old had 27 tackles and a sack kin 12 games for the Saints last year. He'll bring valuable depth to Jacksonville's defensive line in 2021. The sixth-year defensive tackle continues a rebuild for the Jaguars on defense.
