Raiders, John Brown Agree To Deal
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a one-year, $3.75 million deal with veteran wide receiver John Brown on Wednesday, according to a source. Brown will have a chance to make a total of $5.5 million. The 30-year-old speedy deep threat was released by the Buffalo Bills and will now try to replace Nelson Agholor, who signed with the New England Patriots, in Las Vegas. Brown had 105 catches on 167 targets for 1,518 yards and nine touchdowns in 24 games for Buffalo in two seasons. He disappointed with 33 catches for 458 yards and three touchdowns in 2020 in just nine games due to injury. Brown should improve on his numbers from last year if he's healthy with the Raiders, where he's likely to be the third option behind tight end Darren Waller and second-year receiver Henry Ruggs III
