Jamaal Williams Won't Be Back With Packers
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers impending free-agent running back Jamaal Williams hinted that he won't be back with the team after the Packers re-signed Aaron Jones earlier this week. Wideout Malik Taylor will return, though, after the team tendered the restricted free agent on Monday. Williams, a former fourth-round pick, spent the last four seasons with the Packers. Green Bay also has 2020 second-round pick A.J. Dillon to back up Jones, which is why Williams will go elsewhere in free agency. In 60 games in Green Bay, Williams rushed for 1,985 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 122 catches for 961 yards and eight touchdowns. He could be a nice sleeper running back in fantasy in 2021, depending on where he lands and how much playing time he receives.
