4 years agoTampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash said that infielder Brandon Lowe will see time at third base during spring training, while Mike Brosseau will see work at shortstop. It will allow the Rays even more flexibility with in-game moves during the regular season. Tampa Bay likes most of their infielders to be flexible around the diamond to give them more mix-and-match options. Lowe, already a rising fantasy second baseman, also has eligibility in the outfield in some formats, and he could add the hot corner to that list in 2021. The 26-year-old left-handed hitter cut down on his strikeout rate and swinging-strike rate in 2020 and also barreled balls at an elite 17.5 percent rate.
