Frederik Andersen Takes The Crease On Wednesday
4 years agoToronto Maple leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen will make his ninth consecutive start as his team hosts the visiting Ottawa Senators on Wednesday. The Swedish netminder is coming off arguably his worst performance of the season on Monday in which he allowed six goals on 31 shots in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Sens. Having won nine of his 14 starts to go along with a 2.79 goals-against average and .901 save percentage, Andersen can likely be counted on for a rebound performance against the league's fourth-worst offense (2.35 goals scored per game).
