Adam Frazier Being Discussed On Trade Market
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier is being discussed on the trade market and could be the next player that the Pirates move as they continue to rebuild. The Pirates have already traded starting pitcher Jameson Taillon to the Yankees, right-hander Joe Musgrove to the Padres and first baseman Josh Bell to the Nationals this offseason. Frazier is primarily a second baseman, but he can also play the outfield. The 29-year-old hit just .230 with seven home runs and 23 RBI in 58 games in the shortened 2020 season, but he batted .278 with 10 long balls and 50 RBI in 152 games in his last full season in 2019. Frazier is due to make $4.3 million in 2021, so he could be a versatile and cheap addition for a contending team.
