Ehire Adrianza Signs With Braves
4 years agoThe Atlanta Braves signed free-agent infielder/outfielder Ehire Adrianza to a minor league deal on Tuesday. It's unclear if Adrianza received an invitation to spring training. The 31-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Twins, hitting .253/.317/.377 with 13 home runs, 88 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 311 games. He hit just .191 with no homers and three RBI in 44 games in the shortened 2020 season, but Adrianza had a career-high .272 average with five homers and 22 RBI in 83 games in 2019. He's only played over 100 games in a season once in his eight big league seasons, but he'll give Atlanta some utility depth in both the infield and outfield. You can ignore him for fantasy purposes.
