4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was charged with failure to exercise due care in the wake of his single-car accident last week. Jacobs sustained some minor injuries, including a laceration to his forehead, but he was not charged with driving under the influence. His attorneys were prepared to enter a not-guilty plea if he was officially charged with a DUI. The 22-year-old rushed for 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns in 15 games in his second season in the NFL. Although he ran for more yards (1,150) on fewer carries (242) in his rookie season, Jacobs scored five more touchdowns in 2020 and caught 13 more passes on 18 more passing targets. The first-time Pro Bowler will enter the 2021 season as a strong RB1 choice in the early rounds, especially if he's even more involved as a receiver in his third year.
