Bills To Approach Josh Allen About Potential Contract Extension
4 years agoThe Buffalo Bills will approach quarterback Josh Allen's agents about a potential huge contract extension this spring or summer after his breakout 2020 campaign. Allen is coming off an MVP-caliber regular season and has two years left on his current deal. The 24-year-old could end up as one of the highest-paid QBs in the NFL, if not the highest paid, but some of it will be determined by what the 2021 salary cap looks like. Allen racked up 4,544 passing yards on 572 attempts (69.2 completion percentage) for 37 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions. He also ran the ball 102 times for 421 yards and an additional eight touchdowns on the ground. Allen has taken the next step in his third season and has become an elite dual-threat quarterback. He's the top fantasy option on wild-card weekend and will easily be a top-three fantasy QB in 2021.
