Kyler Murray Won't Require Surgery
4 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) will not need surgery on the ankle injury that he suffered in the Week 17 loss to the Rams, but he is still feeling sore, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Murray had to leave the regular season finale on Sunday in the first quarter and finished 8-for-11 for 87 yards while running the ball only two times for three yards in the 18-7 loss. The second-year signal-caller also battled through a shoulder injury in the second half of the season, which slowed him down. The 23-year-old finished the 2020 campaign with 3,971 yards, 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 558 attempts while adding 133 carries for 819 yards and an additional 11 touchdowns on the ground. Despite the disappointing finish, Murray is an athletic and explosive dual-threat QB that will once again have high-end QB1 value heading into the 2021 season.
