Darrell Henderson Jr. Believed To Have High-Ankle Sprain
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (ankle) is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 16 loss to the division-rival Seahawks, making it unlikely that he plays in the Week 17 regular season finale against the Cardinals, according to a source. Henderson is undergoing more tests on Monday to determine the severity. With rookie Cam Akers (ankle) also dealing with a high-ankle sprain and likely to miss the Week 17 game, that means we'll see more of Malcolm Brown and rookies Xavier Jones and Raymond Calais for the final regular season game in a must-win scenario if the Rams hope to get into the postseason. They'll likely be without quarterback Jared Goff (thumb), too, after he suffered a dislocated and broken right thumb on Sunday. Brown will have more chances to make some fantasy noise against Arizona, but it'll be hard to trust him or anyone else in this offense if John Wolford is under center.
