4 years agoFree agent point guard Elfrid Payton is returning to the Knicks on a one-year, $5 million deal. Payton averaged 10.4 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game and also added 1.6 steals. His struggles as a shooter can really hurt fantasy managers in some ways, but provided he beats out Dennis Smith Jr. and Frank Ntilikina for the starting role, he'll have value in certain fantasy builds. Of course, the Knicks point guard role is one of the least settled positions in the league right now, so don't bet big on Payton.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
