Teddy Bridgewater (QB, CAR) - Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: Carolina won't go on its bye week until Week 13, and Teddy Bridgewater was forced out of yesterday's game with a knee injury. Will he play next weekend and in Week 12, or will the Panthers keep him out until Week 14 at the slightest of concerns? We'll know more later today/tomorrow, so keep an eye on that.

Assuming Teddy can play in Week 11 and going forward, there should be nothing putting you off his sweepstakes. Carolina will face Detroit (20th against fantasy QBs) and Minnesota (28th) in its next two games, so the matchups can't get much better.

Bridgewater completed 18 of 24 passes against Tampa Bay yesterday, and although he put up his lowest passing-yardage of the year (136 yards) he still connected for 2 TDs against just one pick. That puts Teddy at 13:7 on the year, which pretty much aligns with the QB-profile he's always had. On top of his passing, he added 16 yards and another touchdown on the ground. And that, my friends, is the extra-upside that Teddy-B brings with him.

Bridgewater's 3 rushing TDs are tied for fifth-most, only bested by Josh Allen, Carson Wentz, Cam Newton, and Kyler Murray. He has 196 rushing yards, the 9th-most among QBs. It's been back-to-back games of Bridgewater playing as a QB1, something he's done two more times this season. And in the other six games, he's finished in the QB2 realm in every match except one.

Teddy makes for a must-add in any slightly deeper league, and also a very solid streamer in any 12-team or shallower format competitions. And if you push me, I'd even recommend him as a weekly starter ROS in virtually any 10+ team league.
