Cardinals Have Two Positive COVID-19 Tests
4 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed on Monday that the team had two positive COVID-19 tests over the weekend. The Cardinals were on bye this week, but players were required to come into the team's facility for testing every morning. Kingsbury said that contact tracing turned up "limited" results and all tests on Sunday came back negative. The names of the players that tested positive were not revealed, and the Cardinals plan to return to practice on Monday ahead of their Week 9 clash with the Miami Dolphins. Kingsbury isn't worried that testing might reveal more positive tests later in the week. Stay tuned for more updates on this situation, but as of now, Arizona's Week 9 game against Miami will go on as scheduled.
