Darrynton Evans Placed On Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe Tennessee Titans moved rookie running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring) to the short-term Injured Reserve on Thursday, which means he'll miss at least three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the Tuesday night win over the Bills. The team also activated defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons from the COVID-19 list. With Evans out for at least the next three weeks, Jeremy McNichols should be the direct backup to bell-cow Derrick Henry in Tennessee's backfield, but he won't hold any standalone fantasy value. Evans has played in just two games so far in his rookie season, rushing the ball five times for 21 yards and not seeing any action in the passing game. He's merely a stash in deep dynasty/keeper leagues.
