Cordarrelle Patterson Sees A New Mitchell Trubisky
4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has seen a change in quarterback Mitchell Trubisky as he fights for the starting gig with Nick Foles in training camp. "He actually looks like a whole new player this year," Patterson said Tuesday. "I see it in his eyes and everything. He's got that fire in him." Trubisky said that he worked on his footwork to improve his anticipation and accuracy this offseason, and he'll need to show it in order to keep Foles at bay. It's a make-or-break season for the signal-caller, but even if he keeps his job as the starter, Trubisky will be a low-ceiling, low-end QB2 in fantasy. Foles would be the more attractive QB2 with a bigger arm, but the Bears aren't close to making a decision with a little more than a month before Week 1.
