Alex Bowman Struggles At Pocono
4 years agoAfter starting 10th, Hendrick Motorsports' Alex Bowman managed to finish in the top 10 in each of the first two stages, but he ultimately fell to a finish of 27th. The struggles may not have been entirely on Bowman, as no Chevy finished inside the top 10, but that shouldn't make DFS players feel any better about starting Bowman in the Pocono 350. The minimal turnaround time won't provide much opportunity to improve the car, and with a starting position of 27th, Bowman will have a major challenge getting to the front. Between his weak track history, weak finish and the lack of speed in Chevys, Bowman is a driver to avoid at his $8,500 cost.
