Chase Elliott Looks To Extend Streak At Talladega
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports' Chase Elliott enters the Geico 500 at Talladega with a run of eight top-10 finishes in his last 10 races. That includes consecutive top-five finishes for the No. 9 team, a streak they have a strong chance at extending on Sunday. Elliott has finished in the top 10 in three of his last four races at Talladega, including a win in the 2019 spring race and a third-place finish in the 2018 spring race. With the chaotic nature of superspeedways like Talladega, that level of consistency can be difficult to find. DFS players should be eyeing Elliott based on talent alone, but starting 11th will also offer a place-differential bonus opportunity greater than many of the other favorites going into the race.
