Darren Waller Thinks Raiders Could Have Top-Five Offense
4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller thinks his team's improved offense could be a top-five unit in the NFL this year. "The big thing for us is finishing in the red zone this year. I know that we’re doing everything in our power to improve upon that. I don’t feel like having a top-five offense is out of the picture," Waller said. The Raiders added receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, and running back Lynn Bowden Jr. in the draft. They added veteran tight end Jason Witten in free agency, and receiver Tyrell Williams is healthy again. Waller had a breakout 2019 season as the team's best pass-catcher and should be seen as a top-five fantasy tight end in fall drafts. The Raiders were 11th in total offense last year but 23rd in scoring. Waller finished with 90 catches for 1,145 yards and three touchdowns.
