Kareem Hunt Eager To Serve As No. 2 Back In Cleveland
5 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt, who led the NFL in rushing in 2017 with the Chiefs, is eager to get a full season under his belt as the team's No. 2 back behind Nick Chubb. Hunt has been somewhat of a forgotten man this offseason, but the Browns have a role for him and he has a chip on his shoulder and feels he has a lot to prove. "They run a lot of two backs," Hunt said. "I see myself just coming in and being a one-two (punch). You know, Nick and I just coming in and taking over the game every week." He should have standalone flex value in PPR leagues as this offense's pass-catching back. The 24-year-old managed 37 receptions in just half a season last year. If Chubb were to get hurt at all, Hunt would have tantalizing RB1 upside.
