Aaron Donald 2020 Outlook: All-Pro Defensive Tackle The Cream Of The Defensive Line Crop
5 years agoAaron Donald is widely considered one of the best individual defensive players in football, let along at the defensive line position. The 13th overall pick of the 2014 draft, Donald has made the Pro Bowl in all six of his seasons and has been named a first-team All-Pro in five of six. He's a beast, plain and simple. The 29-year-old is so good that he's often double- and triple-teamed at the line of scrimmage, yet he's still managed 33 sacks the last two years. A regression from his 20.5-sack season in 2018 was expected, but Donald followed it up with 12.5 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and 24 QB hits in 2019. The elite pass-rusher has posted double-digit sack in four of his six seasons and has never finished under eight sacks in a single year. He'll be one of the first IDP players off the board in drafts and is a must-start week in and week out.
