Tremaine Edmunds 2020 Outlook: Emerging Playmaker With More To Prove
5 years agoTremaine Edmunds is one of the premier middle linebackers in the game in one of the nastiest defenses in the NFL in Buffalo. Edmunds just turned 22 and is heading into his third year in the league after compiling 236 total tackles (146 solo) in 31 games. He goes overlooked playing for Buffalo and isn't considered one of the elite IDP linebackers because of his lack of sacks in his two seasons (3.5). But the former first-round pick (16th overall) out of Virginia Tech is a straight up playmaker and has three interceptions, 21 passes defensed and two forced fumbles in his career to this point. The 2019 Pro Bowler is just getting started and should see his sack totals increase as he matures. If you miss out on the top linebackers in the game, Edmunds is a great consolation prize as a top-20 overall IDP player.
