Calvin Ridley 2020 Outlook: Fully Healthy?
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley followed up an impressive rookie campaign last season by catching 63 of his 93 targets for seven touchdowns and a career-high 866 yards. However, after an abdominal injury ended his year three games early, he fell short at surpassing his 2018 numbers in some statistical areas. The Falcons will look different on the offensive end in 2020 after the departures of both tight end Austin Hooper and running back Devonta Freeman along with the addition of former Rams running back Todd Gurley II. Nevertheless, as long as the 25-year-old is healthy, he will undoubtedly line up opposite star wideout Julio Jones once again and continue to be a reliable target for quarterback Matt Ryan in a pass-heavy offensive system, making him an efficient fantasy option in all formats.
