5 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs plan to pick up the option for running back Damien Williams, who will make $2.3 million in 2020, according to a source. Williams played in just 11 games in the regular season due to injury, but he averaged 4.5 yards per carry on 111 attempts for 498 yards and five touchdowns. The soon-to-be 28-year-old ran for 104 yards in the Super Bowl win over the 49ers and had four rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns in the postseason. When he's healthy, Williams is the unquestioned leader of KC's backfield, which yields plenty of fantasy appeal with Patrick Mahomes under center of this explosive offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
