5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland (back) is scheduled to pitch on Sunday against the Indians after being held out recently with lower back spasms. “I feel good and strong,” Freeland said. “I really don’t think I’ve lost much time. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t rush anything.” The left-hander had his last Cactus League start cut short because of the back issues, but it was obviously nothing too serious. He's made mechanical changes to his windup and has been happy with the results so far, but fantasy owners will need to see better results in the regular season for him to become worth considering off the waiver wire in mixed leagues again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
