Sergio Romo 2020 Outlook: Solid Holds League Option in Minnesota
5 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Sergio Romo should be a solid, consistent holds league fantasy asset in 2020. Romo won't rack up strikeout like some other pitchers in similar roles, but he has been a model of consistency over the past few seasons and there's no reason to expect that to change. He'll work in the main setup role for Taylor Rogers alongside Trevor May and Tyler Duffey. Romo should easily record upwards of 25 holds if he remains healthy. He can likely be had in the late rounds of most holds league drafts.
