Hunter Renfroe Feels 100 Percent Healthy
5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Hunter Renfroe (ankle, foot) said on Saturday that he feels "100 percent" healthy after undergoing three procedures for his right foot and ankle. “Everything is good, everything is fixed,” Renfroe said. “I was going to the physical therapist and stuff like that and strengthening the ankle and getting it back to 100 percent, and now it feels like I never even had surgery, so that’s great. The ankle feels great, the foot feels great, so I’m ready to go.” He had 27 home runs and a .921 OPS in 81 games in the first half last year for the Padres, but his ankle and foot issues hurt his production in the second half. The 28-year-old will probably be overvalued for his power in the middle of Tampa's lineup -- he's had at least 26 home runs the last three years -- but he is likely to bring your team average down (career .235 hitter in four seasons). RotoBaller has Renfroe ranked as the No. 61 fantasy outfielder.
