5 years agoThe Minnesota Twins will pick up veteran designated hitter Nelson Cruz's $12 million option for the 2020 season. Despite being 39 years old in 2019, Cruz managed to hit .311/.392/.639 with 41 home runs, 81 runs and 108 RBI in just 120 games. He's had at least 40 dingers in four of the last six seasons and has reached the 100-RBI plateau in four of the last six years as well. Injuries are the main concern as he ages, but Cruz hasn't really shown any signs of slowing down with the stick when he's healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
