Jusuf Nurkic 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a serious leg fracture last season while putting together a career year for the Bosnian National player. Nurkic was posting top-40 value with numbers of 15.6 points, 10.4 points, 3.2 assist, 1.4 blocks, and 1.0 steals before the injury. He is expected to be out until February and we know that once he does return, that he will be eased in slowly with hopes he will be at top form come the playoffs. The Blazers have brought in Hassan Whiteside to fill the gap in the meantime and once Nurkic gets to 100%, it will probably be too late into the fantasy season for him to make a consistent impact. If you have a couple of IR spots, then he is worth a grab later in rounds, if not, he could be dead weight for most of the season.
