Markieff Morris 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Markieff Morris takes his talents to the Motor City and looks to be the Blake Griffin's primary backup at the power forward spot. We can even assume he will play the five in smaller lineups. From the early rumblings that Griffin will be load managed this season, we can assume Morris could start a handful of games. Prior to his move to the Thunder last season, Morris provided 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 makes from three in 26.0 minutes a night. Those numbers might be a reach this season, but if and when he is given the minutes, he has proven to be a solid fantasy provider. If Griffin is to miss any extended amount of time, Morris is for a look as a streamer across all formats.
