Bradley Beal 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal was forced to carry the whole team in 2018-19 after John Wall and Dwight Howard combined for only 41 games, and 2019-20 won't be any different. Howard has left and Wall could very well miss the whole season after rupturing his left Achilles in February. Beal delivered a career year in the midst of all the adversity, scoring 25.6 points per game while adding 5.5 assists, five rebounds, and 1.5 steals. He became the first player in Wizards history to average at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists while appearing in all 82 games for a second consecutive season. Beal has been a true warrior in D.C. as Wall has managed to log only 73 games over the last two seasons. At 26, he's on the young side as well, so there should still be room for improvement. The Wizards aren't going anywhere with their current roster, which puts Beal in a spot where he can rack up as many empty stats as he can. Posting another 25-5-5 line in 2019-20 shouldn't prove to be too difficult for him, and without many scoring options around, he could be a top-10 scorer in the league.
