Draymond Green 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoGolden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green has a lot to live up to after producing an outstanding postseason campaign in 2019, which saw him getting close to averaging a triple-double with 13.3 points, 10.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists. Green completely turned around his season in the playoffs, as he had his worst scoring and rebounding numbers in five years during the regular season. He also had problems with his health and ended up missing 16 games. 2019-20 should be a totally different story for Green as Kevin Durant has left, which should get Green more involved on offense again. Green posted a career-high 7.4 assists in 2015-16 before KD joined the mob. With Klay Thompson out as well, Green looks set for a huge start to the season, and his production should be around the numbers which we saw him post during last season's playoffs. It would also be a big bonus if Green has managed to fix his three-point shot during the offseason. It's nosedived in dramatic fashion, going from 38.8 percent in 2015-16 to 28.5 percent in 2018-19.
