Tyrell Williams Has Big Night In Raiders Debut
5 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams shined as the team's WR1 in Monday night's victory over the Denver Broncos. His eight-yard touchdown opened the scoring on the team's first drive of the game as he finished the night securing 6-of-7 targets for 105 yards in his first game wearing the Silver and Black. Williams made a couple of superb grabs in this contest, one good for 43 yards and another in tight double coverage, putting the team in a goal-to-go situation. The 28-year-old looked like a reliable target for Derek Carr and will show more consistency in this offense than in his years with the Chargers. Williams will be on the WR3 radar in a juicier matchup next Sunday against the shaky Chiefs Defense.
