5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) did not make the trip to Philadelphia and is out for Week 1 against the Eagles. Reed just couldn't get cleared from the concussion protocol in time for the season opener. He remains a much-too-risky TE2 that more often than not finds himself on the sidelines. Vernon Davis will be the team's primary pass-catching tight end on Sunday, but he's a low-ceiling TE2 in a weak offense against an Eagles team that routinely shut down opposing tight ends in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
