Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pulled From Saturday's Game
5 years agoUber-prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was pulled from Toronto's game against the Mariners on Saturday afternoon, being replaced by Brandon Drury in the third inning with left knee discomfort. Guerrero seemed to have no problems after grounding out in the first inning, before playing the field in the top of the second. But after the Blue Jays hit in the bottom half of the frame, it was Drury who came out to man third base as Toronto began play in the third. Guerrero has had a relatively disappointing rookie campaign but has heated up in the second half, collecting multiple hits 13 times since. Owners can only hope it's a minor ailment but regardless, Guerrero remains a premiere dynasty asset.
