Tre’Quan Smith Hoping To Flourish In High-Powered Offense
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith will look to improve as he enters the 2019 season. While Ted Ginn Jr. was away from the team last season while dealing with a knee injury that limited him to just seven total games, the second-year receiver was third on the team in receiving yards, nestled behind Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas. He also hauled in five touchdown receptions during the regular season and left a lasting impression as we enter a new season. Though he is listed behind Ginn on the depth chart, Smith should have a cemented a place in the lineup, with his production increasing if either Thomas or Ginn goes down with an injury at some point during the 2019 campaign. Keep an eye on him towards the later part of fantasy drafts as he is worth a pick if you have an extra slot available to spare.
