Todd Gurley Not Worried About Knee
6 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (knee) said he wasn't concerned about the condition of his knee after he missed time because of it late in the 2018 season and into the postseason. He has also been off the field during the team's offseason program. “I had bigger problems to worry about coming out of college. This is small,” Gurley said. Gurley tore his ACL in his final year at the University of Georgia. Head coach Sean McVay said the team plans to have Gurley back on the field for drills at training camp. Gurley will still be the focal point of the Rams offense in 2019, but his touches are expected to be cut back and rookie Darrell Henderson was drafted to take the load off Gurley and to keep him fresh for the long haul. Gurley could still be a productive RB1 for fantasy owners, but he shouldn't be an option at the top of the first round like he has been the last couple of years.
