FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/13/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

There are 11 games on the schedule today, but I will be focusing my research on the nine-game main slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/13/2019. The picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

We also provide DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me on Twitter @Roto_Nate.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Jacob deGrom: NYM vs STL ($10,200)

Degrom has been performing well over his last eight starts, recording a 2.72 ERA and 0.97 K/Inning. He has gone six or more innings in six of those starts, giving him considerable upside. The Cardinals have a .313 team wOBA against righties this season, keeping them around the middle of the pack in the majors.

Marcus Stroman: TOR at BAL ($7,200)

We get an elite-potential pitcher here at a reduced salary. The prideful Stroman will be on a mission to bounce back from his rough outing last time out against the Diamondbacks. He has a good opportunity in a matchup against the Orioles, who have a .297 wOBA and 22.7% Strikeout Rate against right-handed pitching. A concern when rostering a pitcher at Camden Yards is the home run possibility in this ballpark, however, Stroman possesses an elite 56.5% groundball rate.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Rowdy Tellez: C-1B, TOR at BAL ($2,300)

Since his debut in the starting rotation, Gabriel Ynoa has been having trouble giving up the long ball, allowing three home runs in three starts. Tellez seems pretty cheap in this matchup, especially if he can find himself around the cleanup spot. After hitting a grand slam last night, this could be the thing that will kickstart him after a rough start to June. For the second night in a row, the Blue Jays could be one of the top offenses on the slate, which is a welcome sight when trying to fit hitters into a lineup with deGrom.

Gleyber Torres: 2B, NYY at CWS ($3,600)

Torres is another player who is underpriced relative to his upside, after a rough start to June. I won't be afraid to roll him out against Ivan Nova and his 6.28 ERA. Nova has allowed 66% of his home runs this year against right-handed hitters to go along with a 1.424 WHIP. Torres has been much better against right-handed pitching, recording a .379 wOBA and .269 ISO. In a home run heavy ballpark in Chicago, we could see the Bronx Bombers go off for a couple of home runs tonight. Top of the list is Torres, who has a significant .403 wOBA and .325 ISO on the road this season.

Rafael Devers: 3B, BOS vs TEX ($3,800)

With three hits, two extra-base, over his last two games, it seems like Devers is starting to heat up. He has had all his success against right-handed pitching, with a .385 wOBA and .210 ISO. Adrian Sampson hasn't fared well away from home, surrendering a 6.00 ERA and 1.714 WHIP on the road. It shouldn't get any easier for him at the hitter-friendly confines of Fenway Park, and Devers will be one of the main attractions on one of the top stacks on the slate.

Fernando Tatis Jr.: SS, SDP at COL ($4,300)

Tatis Jr. has shown no ill effects since his return from injury, boasting a .350/.409/.700 slash line with two home runs in six games. He comes into his first game at Coors Field looking to continue his hot streak and with a .396 wOBA and .277 ISO against right-handed pitchers this season I can see him making a mark tonight. Jon Gray has fared better at home, but Tatis Jr. has the talent to exploit him at Coors Field. Gray has given up the majority of his home runs and has a 4.54 ERA against right-handed hitters on the season.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Christin Stewart: OF, DET at KC ($3,000)

It's hard to predict what will happen in neutral-site games, as this one will be played in Omaha to celebrate the beginning of the College World Series. In 11 neutral site games since 2017, there has been an average of 10.27 runs per game, which could be a result of teams wanting to put a show on for the new fans, or whatever it may be. From a fantasy perspective, this could give us an edge when sites aren't taking these stats into account. Christin Stewart comes into this game with a .366/.422/.585 slash line in June and a .346 wOBA vs right-handed pitching. He faces Homer Bailey who we are familiar with as an automatic target in DFS, as he has a 5.90 ERA, and is allowing a 1.508 WHIP.

David Peralta: OF, ARI vs WSH ($3,800)

While Erick Fedde has been good since his debut, he has struggled against left-handed hitting, allowing a 4.66 ERA and 1.759 WHIP. Peralta has good splits against right-handed pitching as well, recording a .395 wOBA and .281 ISO with eight of his nine home runs. Peralta should be able to have a good night against the vulnerable young pitcher.
