Mike Clevinger Hit Hard In Rehab Start
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (back) allowed four earned runs on three hits while walking two and striking out four in just two innings in his rehab start with Triple-A Columbus on Thursday. The thing to take away from this was that Clevinger came out of the start healthy and might only need one more minor league rehab start before he rejoins a Tribe rotation that could really use him with Trevor Bauer struggling and Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco both injured. Clevinger, 28, hadn't allowed a run in 12 innings in his first two starts of the year and has fantasy ace potential when he's right. He showed it in 2018.
