Emmanuel Sanders Could Be Back Sooner Than Expected
6 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said he thinks that wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (Achilles) will be back before people think, but his hunch isn't based on anything medical. Sanders has been making progress this offseason, but he will be 32 years old this year and isn't a lock to play in the preseason or even in Week 1 yet. When healthy, he's expected to be Joe Flacco's No. 1 wideout, with second-year receiver Courtland Sutton emerging as another go-to target. Sanders had 71 catches for 868 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games last year, but he's a pretty big fantasy risk at his age coming off a serious ailment.
