Bradley Zimmer Could Return In Two Weeks
6 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer (shoulder) could need about two weeks before the team decides if he's ready to return to make his season debut if he's cleared on Saturday to start a rehab assignment at Triple-A, according to manager Terry Francona. Zimmer played in only 34 games for the Tribe last year due to injury, but he has an intriguing blend of power and speed and he should see regular playing time in a shallow Cleveland outfield whenever he does make his season debut. The 26-year-old hit .241 with eight home runs, 39 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 101 games in his rookie season back in 2017. He'll likely become valuable in deep mixed leagues when he makes his 2019 debut.
