Wade Davis Thinks He'll Be Back Soon
6 years agoColorado Rockies closer Wade Davis (oblique) continues to throw and thinks he'll "be back pretty soon" after being sidelined since May 19 with a left oblique strain. He started with light toss at 60 feet last Sunday and advanced to around 100 feet on Wednesday. The next step is a bullpen session for Davis, which will come in the next few days. The veteran right-hander has a 2.45 ERA and seven saves and should be scooped up in your league if he was dropped for some reason. Scott Oberg was designated to close with Davis out, but he's yet to pitch in a save chance so far.
