NFL Likely To Review Ezekiel Elliott Incident
6 years agoThe NFL is likely to review an incident in which Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had a run-in with a concert security guard in Las Vegas to determine if he violated the terms of his previous suspension, according to two league sources. Elliott was briefly handcuffed earlier this month after bumping a security guard, but he wasn't arrested or charged. Sources close to Elliott said they don't think the language in Elliott's previous suspension supports discipline in light of the video footage. Elliott was previously suspended six games in 2017 for acts of physical abuse against an ex-girlfriend. When it comes down to it, it'll likely be up to commissioner Roger Goodell as to whether the NFL decides to discipline Elliott over this incident. Stay tuned for more details, but the top-three fantasy pick could be facing more discipline.
